MR. IANNONE'S CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT CLASS

During this school year in your intervention class I will be teaching Character Development. We will explore the six pillars of character ( respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, fairness, caring , citizenship) through the thoughts and personal experiences of young people throughout the U.S. We will be watching inspiring documentaries, humorous vignettes and insight teen discussions about each of the pillars. In class we will be having open discussions, skits, writing assignments and group projects.

THIS NINE WEEK LESSON WILL BE ON "WHAT IS FAIRNESS?"

•Treat others the way you want to be treated.
•Treat people impartially and without prejudice.
• Consider the feelings of all people who will be
•Affected by your actions.
• Be open-minded and reasonable.
• Play by the rules.
• Don’t take advantage of others.
