WELCOME STUDENTS OF 2009-2010
I LIKE TO WELCOME ALL THE STUDENTS NEXT YEAR. SCIENCE WILL BE AN ADVENTURE. YOU WILL EXPLORE THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD, INVENTIONS, ZOOLOGY, WEATHER, ENERGY AND ENGINEERING BY BUILDING A BRIDGE. MY MOTTO IS WORK HARD, WORK SMART AND HAVE FUN. I EXPECT ALL ASSIGNMENTS TURN IN WITH A 100% EFFORT. EFFORT IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.
YOU MUST COME PREPARED TO WORK WITH A PENCIL, COLORED PENCILS, SCISSORS, GLUE STICK AND ONE SPIRAL NOTEBOOK.
ALL GRADES ARE WEIGHTED WHICH MEANS THAT TEST ARE 50% OF YOUR GRADE, LABS ARE 35%,GROUP GRADE 5%, PLANNERS AND LEARNING LOGS WILL BE 10%.
SAFETY IN SCIENCE IS HIGH PRIORTY. THERE ARE NO WARNINGS WHEN YOU DO A SAFETY ISSUE. YOU ALSO HAVE TO PASS THE SAFETY TEST BY 85% IN ORDER TO DO ANY LABS. ALSO A NOTE IS NEEDED IN ORDER TO HOLD ANY ANIMAL IN THE CLASSROOM.
8:45 – 9:30 Writing (SERVICES FOR Writing)
9:30 – 10:30 Core 1 (SERVICES FOR Reading)
10:30 – 11:30 Core 2
11:30 – 12:30 Core 3
12:30 – 1:15 Lunch
1:15 – 2:00 Specials ( Music, PE and Art )
2:00 – 2:30 Interventon ( Character Counts, problem solving etc)
2:30-3:30 Core 4
